Many of the company’s projects have involved building consensus among many stakeholders, and public outreach and participation, through the complex entitlement process.
O’Brien Homes has been building new home neighborhoods throughout the San Francisco Bay Area since 1976. Under the leadership of Dennis O’Brien, the company has built and sold more than 4,000 homes. Dennis O’Brien has served on the UC Berkeley Policy Advisory Board for the Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, is a member of the Urban Land Institute, a member of the Board of Directors for BRIDGE Housing, and has served in a number of board and leadership positions within the homebuilding industry, as recognized in his induction of the California Building Industry Foundation’s Hall of Fame.
